This past week a team of 6 young adults came from Japan (dubbed Operation Tomodachil) as a mission team. I got to hang out with them and also serve with them when they came to my church to run a VBS (Vacation Bible School) and to attend a BBQ. I also had the pleasure of hanging out with them while touring in San Francisco while occasionally translating for them, attend a mini-retreat/lock-in at my old church Sunday night, and had Thanksgiving dinner with them (since it's a very American meal that they may never get to eat again).
